Kelly Jelic, RN, MEP-C, is a highly qualified medical aesthetic provider at Faces by Kelly. She offers a wide range of noninvasive and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments to patients in and around Durham, North Carolina.
Kelly has been managing her selective clientele inside the Jelic Center for over 15 years. She received her nursing degree in 1992 and specialized in cardiac intensive care for 11 years until Dr. Jelic opened the center in 2003. In 2004, committed to homeschooling her two young children while contributing to her husband’s practice, Kelly left hospital nursing and attended classes at the Esthetic Skin Institute in Florida, where she obtained her Medical Esthetics Provider Certification (MEP-C).
During her 15-plus years of providing aesthetic treatments, she has seen the trend in aesthetic medicine shift from no longer simply injecting unwanted lines and folds but to restoring the individual’s youthful contours. Kelly’s focus is on her patient’s unique face. Only after understanding their concerns at a consultation, Kelly will apply her esthetic sense and years of experience to customize a treatment to help them achieve their unique facial goals. She is committed to keeping her patients looking like themselves, only better.
When Kelly isn’t applying her talents to facial rejuvenation, she assists in the operating room, providing their patients with conscious sedation and post-operative recovery. Additionally, she provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to colleagues in the community. Kelly and Dr. Jelic successfully homeschooled their two children who are now college bound. She enjoys exercising, salsa dancing, and vacationing with her husband.
Kelly maintains her CPR instructor certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. She is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS).
